(You Read to Me and I Read to You)
at the Bottom of This Page! On November 29, 2007, the Tidewater area had a very successful DAC workshop on Paired Reading at Christ the King School. There were almost 80 in attendance. The evening began with a warm up activity of a You Read to Me, I'll Read to You choral reading selection. Families participated in Paired Reading training by watching a short video. They received a Paired Reading tutor card, contract and recording sheet. After the training the families had an opportunity to practice their newly learned strategy. The evening was completed with a cool down exercise using another You Read to Me, I'll Read to You choral reading selection. Every family received a door prize. Eight of the families got a You Read to Me, I'll Read to You book and the others had their choice of other books.
