Title I Bypass Parent Workshop

Tidewater 11-03-06 Parent Workshop 1

Title I families enjoyed an evening of fun and learning on Thursday, November 30, 2006, at the St. Pius School Gymnasium.  Tonia Deetz Rock, Educational Coordinator for Historic Jamestowne, used pictures and replica artifacts to show how reading makes our heritage come alive.  Afterwards, at break-out stations, the Title I teachers provided reading strategies and activities to help children read and understand non-fiction books at home.
