Trinity Parent Involvement Month - March 2013 Trinity Parent Involvement Month - March 2013

Parent Involvement Month Huge Success!

March was Trinity Lutheran School's Title I Parent Involvement Month. Several parents conducted learning activities in the Title I room with their child's group. We learned everything from the jobs of the Red Cross to reading and writing the alphabet. Here are some of the wonderful experiences the children and parents had...

Sam's mom plays a homemade listening and word recognition game to go with In a People House with the first graders.

First-graders take turns at repeated reading with In a People House.

Kindergarten students listen as Henry's mom reads The Kissing Hand. Later, they put kiss stickers on a traced hand.

Bruce’s mom plays a memory game with the same Kindergarten group

Liam’s mom plays “Squiggle” with the PK4 group. The boys had to name a letter sound and then write it on their own scribble pads.

Third graders were taught about the jobs of the Red Cross, and all received their own copy of Ned and the Gift of Life. Micah’s mom read the book with the group.
